1. Introduction

Pivot Inc. ("Pivot," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding your information when you use our platform and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using Pivot, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Account Information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password.

Property & Business Data. Information you enter about your rental properties, including addresses, nightly rates, listing URLs, availability calendars, lead records, and revenue figures.

Payment Information. Billing details processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Pivot does not store full credit card numbers.

Platform Integrations. When you connect Airbnb, VRBO, Inago, or other booking platforms, we receive listing data, reservation details, and guest inquiry information through those platforms' APIs in accordance with their terms.

Usage Data. Log files, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions collected automatically as you use the Services.

Communications. Records of support requests, emails, or chat messages you send to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Pivot platform and Services

Sync your property data and calendars across integrated booking platforms

Generate revenue reports, lead tracking summaries, and occupancy analytics

Build and maintain your Done-For-You marketing website (if subscribed)

Process payments and send billing receipts

Send transactional emails (booking notifications, lead alerts, account updates)

Send product updates and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)

Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access

Comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers. We work with trusted vendors (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Platform Integrations. Data you choose to sync with Airbnb, VRBO, Inago, or your DFY website is transmitted to those platforms as directed by you.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a subpoena or court order).

Business Transfers. If Pivot is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

Revenue records and booking history may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data to advertising networks.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

**Access.** Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

**Correction.** Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

**Deletion.** Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).

**Portability.** Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

**Opt-out.** Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
